The Year of grief Sabaq 20 Gam ka Saal Ghaati se najaat paane ke kuchh hi arse baad nubuvvat ke daswein saal Aap ﷺ ke meharbaan chacha Abu Taalib ka inteqaal ho gaya. Abhi chacha ka gam taaza hi tha ke wafaadaar aur jaan nisaar beewi Hazrat Khadeeja رازي الله تالا أنه ki bhi wafaat ho gai. In donon waaqiaat se hamaare Nabi ﷺ ko sakht sadma pohancha. Hamaare Nabi ﷺ ne is saal ko “Gaam ka saal” qaraar diya, ab Quraish ko khullam khulla sataane ka mauqa mil gaya. Pehle to Abu Taalib ke lihaaz aur Hazrat Khadeeja رازي الله تالا أنه ki khaatir kuchh dabe rehte the; lekin ab maidaan saaf tha. Mushrikeen-e-Makkah ne hamaare Nabi ﷺ ko bahot sataana aur takleefein pohnchaana shuru kar diya. Sawaalaat: 1. Aap ﷺ ne nabuwwat ke daswein saal ko Gam ka saal kyun qaraar diya? 2. Abu Taalib aur Hazrat Khadeeja رازي الله تالا أنه ki wafaat ke baad kya huwa? سبق 20 غم کا سال وادیوں کی مصیبت سے چھٹکارا پانے کے کچھ عرصہ بعد نبوت کے دسویں سال آپ کے چچا ابو طالب کا انتقال ہوگیا۔ چچا کا غم ابھی تازہ تھا کہ ان کی وفادار اور متقی بیوی حضرت خدیجہ رضی اللہ عنہا کا انتقال ہوگیا۔ ہمارے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو ان دو واقعات سے واقعی صدمہ پہنچا۔ ہمارے نبی نے سال کو "غم کا سال" کہا، اب قریش کو کھلم کھلا ظلم و ستم کا موقع ملا ہے۔ پہلے ہی ابو طالب کی خاطر اور حضرت خدیجہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا کی خاطر وہ تھوڑی بہت دب جاتے تھے۔ لیکن اب میدان صاف تھا۔ مشرکین مکہ نے ہمارے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو اذیتیں دینا شروع کر دیں۔ سوالات: 1. نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے نبوت کے دسویں سال کو غم کا سال کیوں کہا؟ 2. ابو طالب اور حضرت خدیجہ رضی اللہ عنہا کی وفات کے بعد کیا ہوا؟ Lesson 20 The year of Grief Shortly after getting rid of valleys trouble, in the tenth year of prophecy, his kind uncle Abu Talib passed away. The Uncle's grief was still fresh when his faithful and devoted wife Hazrat Khadeeja (RA) passed away. Our Prophet was truly shocked by these two incidents. Our Prophet called the year "The year of grief", now the Quraysh have the opportunity to openly persecute. Already for the sake of Abu Talib and for the sake of Hazrat Khadija (RA), they used to be a little suppressed. But now the field was clear. The polytheists of Makkah began to persecute and afflict our Prophet (PBUH). Questions: 1. Why did the Prophet (pbuh) call the tenth year of prophecy a year of grief? 2. What happened after the death of Abu Talib and Hazrat Khadeejah (RA)?
